Approving or rejecting entries in GravityView

How do I approve or reject entries?

To approve or reject entries:

  1. In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Gravity Forms Forms page
  2. Click on the title of the form you want to moderate the entries for
  3. Click the link named Entries

  4. You will see a list of entries for the form. There's a column with the Astronaut icon. In that column, you will see ✓ or ✗ based on whether the entry is approved or rejected. Click the ✓ or ✗ marks to toggle the status of the entry.

This will set the status of the entry as approved or rejected. If your form is configured to show only approved entries, rejected entries will not be shown.

How to add an editable Approved field:

  • Go to Edit the Gravity Forms form connected to your View
  • Approve/Reject and Opt-In Fields Add an Approve/Reject field or the User Opt-In field to your form (in the GravityView fields section)
  • Save the form

How to show only approved entries in a View

  • In your View, find the View Settings box and check the checkbox named Show only approved entries
  • Now approval is set up!
